Clinical study suggests 4Life Transfer Factor boosts the immune system within hours

findings from a 2022 clinical study offer promising insights into how quickly the immune system may respond to supplementation with 4Life Transfer Factor® Tri-Factor® Formula. The study, conducted by Natural Immune System (NIS) Labs in collaboration with 4Life’s Research and Development team, suggests measurable immune system activation in as little as two hours following supplementation.

Fast Immune Activation: What the Latest Study Reveals About 4Life's Tri-Factor®

According to a recent clinical study, 4Life Transfer Factor® Tri-Factor® Formula may activate key immune system responses in as little as two hours after consumption. This placebo-controlled, double-blind, randomized clinical trial was conducted in partnership with Natural Immune System (NIS) Labs and 4Life’s own Research and Development team. Results were published in the peer-reviewed journal Current Issues in Molecular Biology in 2024.

What the Study Looked At

This feasibility trial involved 24 healthy adults, who each received either 600 mg of 4Life Transfer Factor Tri-Factor Formula or a placebo. The study used a cross-over design, meaning all participants received both the supplement and the placebo during separate test periods. This method reduces variability and increases the reliability of the results.

Blood samples were collected at baseline (0 hours) and then at 1, 2, 3, and 4 hours after consumption. The goal was to measure real-time immune response using specific biomarkers:

  • Cytokine profiling (e.g., IL-6, IL-8, IFN-γ)

  • Activation of Natural Killer (NK) cells

  • Monocyte and granulocyte responses

  • Oxidative burst activity

The findings showed statistically significant increases within two hours in multiple immune markers including cytokines and NK cell activation of supplement intake.

What About Research Transparency?

As with any single study, it's important to interpret results within the broader context. While the research was well-designed, it was also conducted in collaboration with the product's manufacturer, which introduces potential for bias. Continued research will help confirm and build on these findings, which already show strong early promise.

A Step Forward for Immune Science

This new data builds on 4Life’s two decades of commitment to immune health through Transfer Factor molecules, which are small peptides derived from cow colostrum and chicken egg yolks. These molecules are designed to help “educate” the immune system, improving its ability to recognize and respond to potential threats.

By demonstrating rapid immune activation in a controlled human study, this research supports 4Life’s broader mission: delivering science-backed, fast-acting immune support rooted in nature and validated through modern clinical techniques.
